The numbers are in! We grossed $38,498 and paid out $26,217 for a
profit of $12,281. These results are due
to the Excellent job done by Festa Chairpersons Virginia Esposito and Carol
Minotti and all our members who worked so hard for our club.
At our
October 21st General Meeting , our 2010 Budget was passed. The budget is very realistic and includes
$18,000 to finance our capital improvements.
Another job well done by John Scifo, who officially accepted the
position of Treasurer. His finance
committee will be Frank Morelli, Brad Sanguinetti and Tom Mayne.
A proposal was made by the board to
increase our annual dues from $60 to $100, with provisions to allow our members
to pay in two installments. If the last
installment extends into February, there will be a late fee of 10%, bringing
the total to $110.
On Friday, November 27, 2009, the
day after Thanksgiving, we will be open at our regular time and feature a
buffet menu. Pizza will also be
available in the lounge. The Wild Hearts
will entertain.
On two different occasions, I have
been asked to allow food to be brought in to the club due to special dietary
requirements of our members. According
to the State Board of Health law, I am not authorized to permit food from your
home to be brought into the club. This
is also part of our club’s Rules & Regulations. Please honor this request.
